The Beverley Hotel are currently recruiting for the following position:

Head of Housekeeping

This is a hands on leadership position with overall responsibility for the standards of the hotel bedrooms and public areas and as a result applicants will ideally have previous housekeeping experience within a 3 star hotel.

Duties will include supervising other staff within the department, ordering cleaning and guest room supplies, reporting to the management team and maintaining the hotel standards of cleanliness. As an independently rated establishment certain standards and levels of expectation must be surpassed.

This is a hands on position and will therefore require direct engagement with vacuuming, mopping, dusting, cleaning of bedrooms and communal areas. This will include changing bed linen, cleaning bathrooms and toilets.

Working hours generally fall with the hours of 8:30am – 16:00pm and are worked over the course of seven days. The ability to work weekends is essential.

This is a permanent position for the right candidate. Starting date – Immediately.
